Toyota RAV4: A Brief History

The small crossover SUV made its debut in 1989 at the Tokyo Motor Show. A revised version was introduced in 1993. During the first generation, the RAV4 received a large number of variants for drivers to choose from. The RAV4 received more power during the second generation in 2001. By 2006, the RAV4 gained a larger size. The size change unfortunately had negative effects because the RAV4 could no longer stand out among other popular rides. That's why, for the fourth generation, Toyota undid many of the third generation changes. As the years go by, the RAV4 has continued to add a variety of features that drivers love, maintaining its popularity.
